ICNS is made up of a parent run Board of Directors and additional parental involvement in other school responsibilities ie: Field trip Planner, Scheduler etc. All parents enrolled in the school are required to have a job, along with assisting in the classroom approximately once a month.
       Our teacher for both the 3 and 4 year old programs is Shannon Costantino.

         "I am thrilled to be joining the ICNS family!  Teaching preschool is a true pleasure.  I received my Elementary Education Certification from the State University College of New York at Brockport, as well as my BS in Psychology.  I continued my work with children for eight years at the YMCA as the Childwatch Coordinator.  From there, I enjoyed three years teaching preschool at Summerville Nursery School. I have spent the last few years running a daycare at my house and now, I am here at ICNS to continue my adventures in teaching.       

        I live in West Irondequoit with my husband and 4 children.  Having 4 children sure does keep us busy.  We seem to run from one sporting event to the next and from one school function to the next and then the next.  As a family we enjoy amusement parks, fishing, sports and games.  If I can find any spare time, I love to try to be crafty, cook, bake, and read. I’ve spent some time this past year making novelty cakes and cookies for people.  That’s been fun!   

        I’m excited for the upcoming school year and have a ton of fun planned for us all!"
